SOLVING PROBLEMS OF THE PERIORBITAL ZONE (THE AREA AROUND THE EYES)
The skin of the periorbital region is the thinnest, about 60% thinner than the rest of our face. Due to the strong mimic activity, it is in the area of the eyelids that the first signs of aging appear – “crow’s feet” and fine wrinkles under the lower eyelid.
Preparations for the periorbital zone with age, the overhang of the skin fold and fatty tissue of the upper eyelid in the area of the inner and outer corners of the eye increases. Changes are characterized by dermatochalyasis, ptosis, lowering of the eyebrows with simultaneous flattening of the lateral part of them.
Aging of the lower eyelid is manifested by the formation of bags under the eyes, the omission of the entire lower eyelid, or hypertrophy of the circular eye muscle. Due to the violation of microcirculation in the tissues, dark circles under the eyes appear with age.
